Video Editing Intern – SOR Informatics

Location: In Office, Hyderabad 

Duration: 2-3 months

Stipend - 10-15k/Month

Whether it’s a crisp Instagram Reel, an educational explainer, or a narrative-heavy campaign film, you'll get to edit it all. At SOR Informatics, you won’t just “cut clips”, you’ll craft stories that move audiences.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form content like reels, explainers, and YouTube shorts using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Organize and trim raw footage, apply transitions, soundtracks, subtitles, motion graphics, and effects
• Work closely with strategists and content writers to shape engaging video narratives
• Support long-form video projects, where needed (campaigns, documentaries, etc.)
• Maintain brand and visual consistency across all video assets
• Handle multiple timelines and ensure quick turnarounds without compromising quality

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus)
• Working knowledge of tools like Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• A strong portfolio or showreel (freelance, personal projects, or academic) that demonstrates editing range and storytelling
• Eye for detail, rhythm, pacing, and visual storytelling
• Awareness of current social media trends and formats (Reels, Shorts, etc.)
