Vice Principal

Job Summary:

As a Vice Principal of our esteemed International School, you will play a key leadership role in fostering an exceptional learning environment that promotes academic & overall excellence, cultural awareness, and personal growth for all students. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced educational leader to collaborate with the school's management team and faculty in shaping the future of our diverse educational community. The Vice Principal will be responsible for supporting the Principal in the overall management and administration of the school.

Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership:

• Collaborate with the Principal to develop and implement a vision for academic excellence aligned with the school's mission and objectives.
• Provide guidance and support to teachers and academic staff in curriculum development, instructional practices, assessment strategies and student-teacher bond development.
• Monitor academic progress and performance data to ensure that teaching practices meet the needs of all student’s panoramic growth and align with international education standards.

Administrative Oversight:

• Assist the Principal in the day-to-day administration of the school, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and educational standards.
• Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and professional development of teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Manage and evaluate teachers and staff performance, providing constructive feedback and support for their professional growth.

Student Support and Welfare:

• Collaborate with the school counselor and support staff to ensure the well-being and holistic development of students.
• Handle disciplinary matters, addressing student behavior and promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.

Parent and Community Engagement:

• Foster strong relationships with parents and guardians, engaging them in the school's activities and initiatives and overall child’s development.
• Organize regular parent-teacher conferences and effectively communicate with parents about student progress and school updates.
• Provide relevant feedback to Parents for student’s overall development

School Events and Programs:

• Coordinate and oversee school events, assemblies, and educational programs to enrich the student learning experience and foster a sense of community.

Accreditation and Compliance:

• Assist in the process of obtaining and maintaining relevant National & International accreditations and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.

Professional Development:

• Encourage and support professional development opportunities for staff to enhance teaching practices and leadership skills.
• Stay updated on educational trends and best practices to bring in innovations and new ideas to the school's academic and other programs.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role at any of A+ school category of schools preferably as a Vice Principal or equivalent position.
• Proven track record of successful academic leadership, curriculum development, and staff management.
• In-depth knowledge of National & International education systems, such as IB or Cambridge, and familiarity with global education standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and promote a positive school culture.
• Demonstrated commitment to promoting multicultural awareness and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
