The independently-owned agency was founded in 2012 and has its office in the capital city of the country. We are seeking a driven and experienced client services leader to join our business team. This person would be responsible for managing key client relationships, leading new business initiatives, and growing a high-performance business team, based out of New Delhi.

VP, Account Management
is fundamentally that of a marketing and brand leader
, not an operations manager or a mere POC. We’re looking for someone who brings the knowledge, experience, and confidence of a business leader
, capable of driving overall growth for the agency. - This role demands someone who operates as a
marketing expert first
. Managing operations is table stakes. You will represent the voice of the CMO, brand lead, or head of digital
within our four walls — the strategic brain behind the content, advertising, and communication we produce. - You will play a central role in
shaping the final creative product
and ensuring brand KRAs are not only met but exceeded. Simply put, you are the closest thing to the final decision-maker. The success or failure of a brand within the agency will sit with you. - As VP, you will own
new business acquisition and retention
, create yearly forecast, and ensure your team’s OKRs ladder into clear, quantifiable agency goals. - You will lead all
high-stakes strategic discussions
and build trust with C-suite leaders on the client side. A major part of your success will depend on your ability to build long-term influence with senior decision-makers. - You must
live and breathe platform native content
, especially on YouTube and Instagram
. An instinctive understanding of trends, formats, contentmarket fit, audience behaviour, and competitive landscapes is essential. - The role also requires ease and credibility in senior business circles — building trust with high-level decision-makers,
including Fortune 500 CMOs
, and enabling strong opportunity pipelines through the relationships you naturally cultivate across the industry. - You will be responsible for
building, mentoring, and elevating
a team of account directors, managers, and executives. At least 30% of your time will be spent on talent development and creating a sustainable knowledge management framework for new and existing team members. - You will also be accountable for
improving output and efficiency across all agency departments
. Understanding capacity, driving utilisation, and refining systems and processes will be a core responsibility. Project management expertise and comfort with modern tools and workflows are a must. - You will write your team’s OKRs and present quarterly performance updates to senior management. Appraisals, reviews, conflict management, and team satisfaction scores will all fall under your ownership.
- You will lead
major new business pitches
, analyse category-specific insights, guide creative strategy, and consistently be the final voice of trust and clarity in the room. - You will ensure all media campaigns executed by partner agencies for your brands meet targets in both spends and efficiencies.
- Finally, this is
not a delegate-upwards role
. You are the final line of defence. Your success will be judged on how quickly you identify problems, act on them, and push outcomes. Speed, clarity, and accountability matter more than effort. Learn fast, fail fast, and move forward even faster.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience across Marketing, Brand Management, Digital Marketing, or Advertising, with proven leadership experience and exposure to all major functions of a creative agency.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong long-term client relationships.
- A proven track record of delivering measurable business results.
- Strong understanding of modern digital marketing and emerging platform behaviours.
- Experience leading high-decibel, nationally published campaigns for well-known brands.
- Proven ability to build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams while fostering strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Deep familiarity with platform-native content and consumer behaviour across YouTube and Instagram.
- Comfort operating with and influencing senior decision-makers,
including Fortune 500 CMOs
, with the ability to open meaningful business conversations and strengthen long-term strategic opportunities.
