Vice President Design

As the Vice President of Design (Mechanical) at our company specializing in Heavy Machinery / Mining Equipment Manufacturing (Stone Crushing Machines), your role is crucial in leading the mechanical design and engineering function for stone-crushing machines and related heavy equipment. Your primary focus will be to drive innovation, ensure equipment reliability, optimize performance, and support cost-effective manufacturing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop a design strategy for crushers & screening equipment - Lead New Product Development (NPD) for jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, feeders, conveyors, etc. - Ensure rugged, high-performance designs suitable for mining & quarry environments - Optimize durability, throughput, and energy efficiency - Oversee prototype development, field testing & validation - Ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA), quality, and compliance with safety standards - Collaborate closely with production, quality, procurement, and service teams - Mentor engineering teams and build technical capability **Required Qualifications:** - Mechanical Engineering degree (Masters preferred) - Strong background in heavy machinery, mining equipment, or material-handling machinery - Expertise in structural design, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and vibration analysis - Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for heavy equipment - Strong analytical, technical, and leadership skills Join our team and be a key driver in pushing the boundaries of design and innovation in the heavy machinery industry.,
