Vice President, Control I
to join our team. This role is located in
Pune
.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Identify, analyze, monitor, and minimize the most complex areas of control testing, control and risk education, and operational and risk support activities to the business.
- Manage projects to adjust or create controls required to meet regulatory and corporate expectations.
- Lead control and risk management testing and reporting, including Error / Near Miss analyses.
- Conduct analyses and lead projects independently to improve internal controls that comply with regulations and corporate standards.
- Ensure existing control and business recovery practices and procedures are documented and understood by the business.
- Collaborate with the business to understand current controls minimizing risk and assist in designing and delivering risk management training programs.
- Review documentation for evidence of successful and efficient performance of control and business recovery procedures.
- Identify deficiencies in data systems and create processes to improve defenses.
- Assist in analyzing technology and market trends to determine potential risks and address them across businesses.
- May supervise the work of junior control professionals.
- Contribute to the achievement of area objectives, support multiple complex projects, and own project timelines.
- Provide input into the development of controls and protocols for the function.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred.
- People leadership experience is a plus.
