Job Description

You will be joining the BSM team as a Supply Chain Management Assistant with the main objective of supporting the coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of the supply chain management function to ensure a smooth flow of goods and services in support of the assets under BSM management. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supporting the Supply Chain Management Function to achieve a strategy of non-interrupted delivery of all goods and services, maintain assets, provide transparency and visibility, and operate within globally recognized compliance and ethical standards. - Assisting in establishing and regularly reviewing Supply Chain Management Procedures and Manual in close coordination with the SMCs and SCM team. - Understanding the Procurement KPIs, policy, and processes for BSM and ensuring procurement compliance is met by all internal and external stakeholders. - Liaising with SMCs for vendor feedback/evaluation/performance, pricing feedback, recommending approved vendors for contract, turnover reports, and vendor audits. - Providing first-level support for eConnect, training vendors and users on the eConnect process, and assisting with testing and UAT of Change Requests/enhancements in Purchase PAL. - Actively managing the supplier database by vetting new suppliers, adding them to the system, and ensuring all supplier updates are routinely entered. - Consolidating Customer Satisfaction Survey and Supplier Evaluation. Qualifications required for this role include: - Around 2-3 years of experience working in the procurement domain, with previous experience in ship management preferred. - Knowledge in Supply Chain management will be an added advantage. - A Bachelor's degree in any discipline. - Job-specific skills in accounting, cost control, or supply chain management in a maritime environment will be preferred. - Good interpersonal and communication skills for relationship management with internal/external customers. - Fluency in English and PC literacy.
