Vendor Manager

As a Vendor Development & Evaluation Specialist at Zeeco, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, ensuring their compliance with ethical standards and quality expectations. You will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new suppliers, conducting audits to align them with Zeeco's operational standards, and managing vendor performance metrics. Collaborating with project teams, you will select vendors based on project requirements such as quality, budget, and schedule. Negotiating contracts, pricing, and delivery terms will be a key aspect of your role, as well as managing post-order vendor activities to ensure smooth progress and adherence to agreements. Ensuring quality and safety compliance throughout vendors" manufacturing processes will be a top priority. You will coordinate inspection activities with the Quality team to maintain high standards and safe working practices. Building strong relationships with vendors to align with Zeeco's objectives and expectations will also be essential, acting as the primary point of contact for project updates, compliance, and issue resolution. Additionally, you will travel to supplier locations within the EMEA region for audits, inspections, and relationship management, approximately 2-3 weeks per month.
