Job Description

As a Vendor Operations Manager at Uber, you will play a crucial role in managing customer service processes and leading the global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) network for a key APAC market. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the BPO network provides world-class customer support to consumers, earners, and merchants. This managerial position requires a strong focus on problem-solving through data analysis, team leadership, and continuous process improvement to deliver exceptional outcomes. Your impact in this role will involve leading operational BPO performance on the ground, developing long-term strategies for exceptional customer support, analyzing historical performance metrics, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance internal processes and user experience. You will also manage key projects with site-wide or regional impact, communicate project insights effectively to executives, and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and innovation. To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree, proven experience in leading and partnering with BPO networks, exceptional communication skills, and proficiency in project management and organizational abilities. Fluency in English, attention to detail, swift execution, proficiency in the Google suite of office products, and flexibility to adapt to changes and support a 24/7 operations environment are essential requirements. Preferred qualifications include experience with Ai tools to drive efficiencies in projects. Uber follows a hybrid working model, requiring employees to work from the office at least 60% of the time, with mandatory in-office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
