The role holder is responsible for the credit appraisal of all vehicle finance proposals at the branch for New CV business. The role holder is also responsible for escalating proposals that fall beyond the incumbent's empowerment level. Key Responsibilities Ensure proper credit evaluation of customers as per policy & process Conduct personal discussion with customers for evaluation of Loan proposal Support the branch team in achieving desired branch objective. Manage & Maintain TAT for Loan disbursement. Supervisor & mentor Credit officer & Officer Credit Operation. To diligently appraise loan applications in line with credit policy of the organization. Ensure Credit policies to build a good quality portfolio of the branch. Ensure File is completed in all aspects before the Loan is Disbursed & Maintain records. Completion of PDD on time for the Loan Disbursed Ensure Quality Portfolio of the branch is Maintained Underwrite proposals and make decisions on loan approval and disbursement within empowerment based on credit evaluation criteria Maintain high standards on credit appraisal through personal understanding of customer, as appropriate supplemented by documentation provided Minimize turnaround time per application Maintain a high quality portfolio at branch level . Manage and support other operations activities at the branch. Escalate proposals beyond empowered limit for review of Area/Regional Credit Manager, as appropriate Ensure that the PDD is collected and maintained as per credit norms. Desired Experience Number of years of experience (05-08 years) Type of companies/sector worked for(Private commercial banks and large NBFCs) Responsibilities managed in the previous organizations(Primarily Credit function. Past experience in credit side of CV.)
