We are seeking a detail-oriented VB.NET Developer to join our development team. You’ll maintain and enhance our existing VB.NET applications, build new features, fix bugs, and ensure high performance and reliability. Your work will integrate with SQL Server databases, Windows services, and modern front-ends.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain & Enhance: Support and evolve existing VB.NET WinForms/WebForms applications
• New Development: Design and implement new modules using VB.NET and related frameworks
• Database Integration: Write and optimize T-SQL stored procedures, views, and functions against SQL Server
• API & Services: Build/consume RESTful APIs or WCF services to integrate with other systems
• Bug Fixing & Support: Diagnose issues, write unit tests, and deliver timely bug fixes
• Code Quality: Follow best practices—code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines
• Documentation: Produce clear technical specs, user guides, and inline code comments
• Collaboration: Pair with product owners, QA, and UX/UI designers in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

Required Skills & Experience

• VB.NET: 4+ years of hands-on development in VB.NET (WinForms, WebForms, or ASP.NET)
• .NET Framework: Strong familiarity with .NET Framework 4.x
• Databases: Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server—writing and tuning complex stored procedures
• Web Technologies: Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript for WebForms scenarios
• API Integration: Experience with REST/WCF services
• Version Control: Comfortable using Git (or TFS) workflows
• Testing: Unit testing frameworks (e.g. MSTest, NUnit) and debugging tools
• Agile: Experience working in a Scrum or Kanban environment
• Communication: Clear verbal and written English; ability to articulate technical designs

Nice-to-Have

• Migration experience from VB.NET to C# or .NET Core
• Knowledge of modern UI frameworks (e.g. Angular, React) for hybrid desktop/web fronts
• Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud services
• Message-queue or event-driven architecture (e.g. RabbitMQ, MSMQ)

Experience with Windows Services, background processing

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:

• Yearly bonus

• Dindoli, Surat, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
