UI/UX Designer Intern
Location: DamanDepartment: Product & DesignEmployment Type: Internship (Full-time, In-Office)Benefits: Free Accommodation + Food Provided During InternshipRole OverviewThe UI/UX Designer Intern will work closely with the Product, Tech, and Marketing teams to design intuitive app screens, user flows, animations, and visually appealing layouts. This role requires creativity, research mindset, understanding design patterns, and the ability to convert ideas into well-structured designs.This internship is fully in-office at Daman, with accommodation and food provided.Key Responsibilities
Design clean, modern, and visually consistent screens for ZenCab Customer App and Driver App.
Create layouts, components, icons, and design elements for Android & iOS standards.Develop responsive and scalable UI components.
- User Experience & Flow Creation
Understand business requirements and convert them into user-friendly flows.
Create user journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.Work on improving navigation, usability, and app engagement.
Study competitor apps like Uber, Ola, Rapido, inDrive, etc.
Identify design gaps and propose improvements relevant to ZenCab.Keep updated with latest design trends and mobile UI/UX standards.
- Design Tools & Collaboration
Work with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop (Figma preferred).
Collaborate with product managers and developers for implementation.Provide design assets, icons, color codes, fonts, and spacing guidelines to the tech team.
- Branding & Creative Support
Contribute to social media creatives, marketing banners, app screenshots.Create promotional graphics when required.Maintain consistency across design language and brand guidelines.
Required Skills
Design SkillsStrong understanding of UI/UX principles.Knowledge of mobile app design patterns (Android Material + iOS).Ability to convert ideas into clean wireframes and prototypes.Basic understanding of typography, spacing, colors, and visual hierarchy.Tools KnowledgeFigma (Mandatory)
Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator (Preferred But Not Mandatory)
