The position of CG Artist at izmocars involves working on building High and Low poly Vehicle models in 3D applications for Rendering, Real-time applications, and games. Your responsibility will include following specific build methods and production workflow, either independently or collaboratively with other modelers, to create vehicles based on photography and other reference materials such as CAD data, blueprints, and scan data. The end result should be highly detailed and accurate while meeting specified parameters and deadlines. You will need to be open to creative direction and responsive to feedback from quality assurance. As a CG Artist, you must be detail-oriented, ensuring the accuracy and high level of detail in your work and being able to self-QA your work across all aspects, including accuracy, line flow, and project specifications. The ability to interpret reference imagery into accurate 3D models and work both as a part of a team and independently when necessary is essential. Strong organizational and time management skills are crucial for success in the CGI department, along with the willingness to take on additional tasks as needed. Adapting to a constantly evolving 3D pipeline workflow and creating high-quality low poly assets are key aspects of the role. You are expected to demonstrate proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Maya or Blender, with hard surface modeling skills being highly desired. Knowledge of UV unwrapping and layout, shading, and texturing will be advantageous. Competency in Photoshop is required, and any experience or interest in the automotive industry will be a plus.
