3D Map Designer

As a 3D Map Designer at our company, you will be responsible for creating detailed and immersive environments for a Battle Royale game. Your role will involve designing architectural elements, creating high-quality textures, and collaborating with various teams to ensure an engaging gameplay experience. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and model architectural elements such as buildings, props, and landscapes using 3D Software (Maya or Blender). - Create high-quality textures using Photoshop and ensure seamless tiled texturing. - Perform UV mapping and unwrapping to optimize assets for in-game use. - Assist in developing map structures and terrains that align with gameplay goals. - Incorporate environmental storytelling elements to enhance player experiences. - Optimize designs to ensure smooth performance in large multiplayer environments. **Qualifications Required:** - Passion for games. - Expertise in Blender or Maya for 3D modeling and asset creation. - Proficiency in Photoshop for texture creation and editing. - Strong understanding of UV unwrapping and mapping, level design principles, and gameplay flow and balance. In addition to the above qualifications, the ideal candidate will possess the ability to analyze gameplay data for design adjustments, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and have a passion for video games with an understanding of Battle Royale mechanics.
