3D Map Designer

As a 3D Map Designer at our company located in Surat, you will be responsible for specializing in level architectural modeling and texturing for a Battle Royale game. Your primary focus will be on designing detailed and immersive environments, creating high-quality 3D assets, and collaborating closely with other departments to ensure an engaging and visually stunning gameplay experience. Your key responsibilities will include designing and modeling architectural elements such as buildings, props, and landscapes using 3D Software like Maya or Blender. You will be expected to create high-quality textures using Photoshop, ensuring seamless tiled texturing, UV mapping, and unwrapping to optimize assets for in-game use. Additionally, you will assist in the development of map structures and terrains that align with gameplay goals, while adding environmental storytelling elements for immersive player experiences. It will also be part of your role to optimize designs to ensure smooth performance in large multiplayer environments. The ideal candidate for this position should have a passion for games, expertise in Blender or Maya for 3D modeling and asset creation, and proficiency in Photoshop for texture creation and editing. A strong understanding of UV unwrapping and mapping, level design principles, and gameplay flow and balance is also required. In addition to the above qualifications, having the ability to analyze gameplay data and make informed design adjustments, as well as strong organizational skills for maintaining clear workflows and well-organized files, will be considered an advantage. A passion for video games and understanding of Battle Royale mechanics is also desirable.
