Summary of Position We are looking for a talented 2D Artist Intern eager to gain practical experience in the gaming industry. This internship is an opportunity to work on low-to-medium complexity projects, primarily focused on 2D character and environmental art within Unity. Job Description: Responsibilities Collaborate closely with design and production teams to generate concept art and storyboards. Craft compelling environmental art consistent with the game's design. Create thumbnail sketches illustrating gameplay mechanics. Adhere to chosen art styles and guidelines. Emphasize storytelling, emotion, and intention in your artistic creations. Design characters with a focus on color theory and strong silhouette. Basic Qualifications Strong foundational skills in storytelling through pose and composition. Proficient in digital inking and rendering techniques. Basic understanding of concept art, including illustration and design. Familiarity with Photoshop, Maya, and Max. Passion for games and a willingness to grow within the industry. Excellent communication skills. Portfolio showcasing relevant skills is highly encouraged.
