Summary of Position

We are looking for a talented 2D Artist Intern eager to gain practical experience in the gaming industry. This internship is an opportunity to work on low-to-medium complexity projects, primarily focused on 2D character and environmental art within Unity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with design and production teams to generate concept art and storyboards.
• Craft compelling environmental art consistent with the game's design.
• Create thumbnail sketches illustrating gameplay mechanics.
• Adhere to chosen art styles and guidelines.
• Emphasize storytelling, emotion, and intention in your artistic creations.
• Design characters with a focus on color theory and strong silhouette.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong foundational skills in storytelling through pose and composition.
• Proficient in digital inking and rendering techniques.
• Basic understanding of concept art, including illustration and design.
• Familiarity with Photoshop, Maya, and Max.
• Passion for games and a willingness to grow within the industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant skills is highly encouraged.
