3D Character Designer

As a 3D Character Designer at our company, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling and stylized or realistic 3D characters for various digital media projects such as games, films, and animations. Your role will involve utilizing your expertise in 3D modeling, sculpting, UV unwrapping, and texturing to bring characters to life. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of anatomy, character design principles, and proficiency in software like Blender, Maya, ZBrush, and 3ds Max. Key Responsibilities: - Create high-quality 3D characters with a focus on detail and aesthetics - Utilize 3D modeling, sculpting, UV unwrapping, and texturing techniques effectively - Demonstrate expertise in tools such as Substance Painter, Photoshop, and Quixel - Ensure character anatomy, proportion, and topology are accurately represented - Showcase creativity and adaptability to different art styles - Meet project deadlines and collaborate effectively with team members Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in 3D software including Blender, Maya, ZBrush, 3ds Max, etc. - Experience with texturing tools such as Substance Painter, Photoshop, and Quixel - Solid understanding of character anatomy, proportion, and topology - Knowledge of rigging and skinning basics would be beneficial - Experience with game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity is preferred - Strong portfolio demonstrating previous 3D character design work - Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to different art styles Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with in-person work location requirements.,
