Your key responsibilities will include: - Creating and simulating realistic cloth, hair, fur, and accessory dynamics using tools like Marvelous Designer, Maya nCloth, Houdini, and Unreal Engine. - Collaborating with modeling, rigging, and animation teams to ensure seamless FX performance on characters. - Handling dynamic simulations for various elements such as ethnic garments, flowing gowns, turbans, scarves, jewelry, and other secondary objects. - Working on projects of different styles, from stylized to photorealistic, while ensuring physical accuracy and visual beauty. - Simulating FX for animated IPs, cinematic brand videos, and immersive product showcase projects. - Optimizing simulations for both offline rendering and real-time playback in Unreal Engine. - Troubleshooting technical issues related to collisions, clipping, or performance to meet creative expectations. To be successful in this role, you should have: - 2+ years of professional experience as a CFX Artist in animation, film, or 3D production. - Proficiency in Marvelous Designer, Autodesk Maya, Houdini, and Unreal Engine. - A solid understanding of fabric behavior, physics simulation, and motion dynamics. - The ability to work with rigged characters and troubleshoot FX-related issues. - A strong demo reel showcasing diverse CFX simulations across clothing, hair, or accessories.
