Job Summary:

Pepi Studios is the production arm of Pepi Digital, specializing in high-quality 3D animation and cinematic content for digital platforms, original IPs & commercial projects. We are seeking a highly skilled & innovative 3D Fashion Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing & executing digital garments, & textile simulations using advanced 3D software like CLO 3D & Marvelous Designer.

Key Responsibilities:

1.⁠ ⁠3D Garment & Textile Design:

• Create highly realistic 3D garments, including draping, fitting, and texturing using CLO 3D and Marvelous Designer
• Develop fabric simulations with accurate texture, weight, and movement properties
• Design digital textile patterns and visualize them on 3D models for product testing and marketing

2.⁠ ⁠Digital Prototyping & Simulation:

• Produce detailed 3D prototypes for review and development, reducing the need for physical samples
• Collaborate with product teams to iterate on designs quickly and efficiently in a digital space

3.⁠ ⁠Pattern Making & Fitting:

• Work as a CLO3D Pattern Master to translate traditional 2D patterns into precise 3D formats
• Adjust garment fit, shape, and construction digitally before moving to production

4.⁠ ⁠Software Expertise & Workflow Integration:

• Utilize Marvelous Designer and CLO 3D effectively to build garments from sketch to final render
• Implement feedback from designers, merchandisers, and technical teams to refine garments

5.⁠ ⁠Collaboration & Communication:

• Coordinate with fashion designers, technical developers, and creative directors to bring design concepts to life
• Present 3D renders and animations to internal teams or clients for approvals

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in CLO 3D and Marvelous Designer is a must
• Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern-making, draping, and fit
• Knowledge of textile types, surface textures, and material simulation
• Ability to interpret design briefs and translate 2D sketches or CADs into detailed 3D garments
• Good eye for detail, color, proportion, and digital aesthetics
• Prior experience in digital fashion, apparel development, or 3D prototyping preferred

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

• Familiarity with additional 3D visualization tools (e.g., Blender, Substance Painter, Adobe Suite)
• Experience in animation or rendering for fashion presentations
• Understanding of sustainable digital design processes
