Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for a User Experience (UX) Designer located in the Greater Kolkata Area. The UX Designer will be responsible for conducting user research, implementing design thinking principles, creating visual designs, and developing prototypes. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the user experience is aligned with business goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

User Experience Design

• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and behaviors
• Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to guide design decisions
• Develop information architecture and user flows for web and mobile applications
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements

User Interface Design

• Design intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile platforms
• Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and design systems
• Ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints and maintain brand guidelines
• Prepare design specifications and assets for development teams

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and clients
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback effectively
• Contribute to team design standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

Experience & Skills

• 2+ years of professional UI/UX design experience
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma is mandatory.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and outcomes
• Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first approach
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and design systems

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• Experience with prototyping tools like InVision, Principle, or Framer
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
• Understanding of agile development methodologies
• Experience in conducting user testing and research activities
