Job Description

The Role:

UX/UI Expert

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Journey Design:

    Create intuitive, end-to-end mobile banking experiences, from onboarding to transactions, ensuring simplicity, accessibility, and trust at every step.
  • User Research & Insights:

    Conduct research, usability testing, and data-driven analysis to uncover pain points, user behaviors, and opportunities for experience improvement.
  • Wireframing & Prototyping:

    Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design flows that bring ideas to life, testing concepts iteratively and incorporating user feedback.
  • Visual & Interaction Design:

    Deliver pixel-perfect, mobile-first, responsive designs that align with brand identity, accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA), and cross-platform consistency.
  • Collaboration:

    Partner with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals, technical feasibility, and user needs.
  • Usability & Accessibility:

    Ensure that all mobile banking experiences are inclusive, intuitive, and optimized for various devices, with a strong focus on accessibility.
  • Innovation & Trends:

    Stay at the forefront of emerging design tools, methodologies, and fintech trends, applying innovative approaches to enhance the customer experience.
  • Design Governance:

    Contribute to design systems, style guides, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across products.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field

    .
  • Minimum

    3 years of professional experience

    in

    UX/UI design

    , preferably within

    mobile banking or fintech

    .
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in

    mobile-first application design

    and crafting seamless digital customer journeys.
  • Advanced proficiency in design and prototyping tools:

    Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Zeplin, Axure, Framer

    (or similar).
  • In-depth knowledge of

    user-centered design principles, design systems, and accessibility standards

    .
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present design decisions backed by research and data.
  • Ability to balance

    strategic vision

    with

    hands-on design execution

    , adapting to fast-paced agile environments.
  • Prior experience designing

    digital banking, payment solutions, or fintech applications

    .
  • Familiarity with

    Agile/Scrum methodologies

    and working within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of

    motion design, micro-interactions

    , and

    designing for emerging technologies

    (e.g., biometrics, AI-driven personalization).
