Role Description We are seeking a skilled R and Python Developer with hands-on experience developing and deploying applications using Posit (formerly RStudio) tools, including Shiny Server, Posit Connect, and R Markdown. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, application development, and creating interactive dashboards for data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy interactive web applications using R Shiny and Posit Connect. Write clean, efficient, and modular code in R and Python for data processing and analysis. Build and maintain R Markdown reports and Python notebooks for business reporting. Integrate R and Python scripts for advanced analytics and automation workflows. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business users to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions. Troubleshoot application issues and optimize performance on Posit platform (RStudio Server, Posit Connect). Work with APIs, databases (SQL, NoSQL), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) as part of application development. Ensure version control using Git and CI/CD for application deployment. Required Qualifications 4+ years of development experience using R and Python. Strong experience with Shiny apps, R Markdown, and Posit Connect. Proficient in using packages like dplyr, ggplot2, plotly, reticulate, and shiny. Experience with Python data stack (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, etc.) Hands-on experience with deploying apps on Posit Server / Connect. Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools.
