US Accounting (AR and AP)

Job Title: AR/AP Specialist – US Accounting Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AR/AP Specialist to manage the day-to-day Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes in accordance with US GAAP. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records, timely payments, and efficient cash flow management. Key Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes Process customer invoices, receipts, and payments Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Maintain accurate records of all transactions in the accounting system Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payment inquiries Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of AR/AP experience in a US accounting environment Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Xero) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication and problem-solving abilities Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month Benefits: Food provided Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Schedule: Evening shift Fixed shift Monday to Friday Night shift Ability to commute/relocate: Chandigarh, Chandigarh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Application Question(s): What is your current CTC?
