Job Description Primarily responsible for processing payroll and maintaining the employee database regarding the salary and pay of the allocated clients. Other duties include managing the company budget and expenses as well as cooperating with different departments to increase payroll service performance. Job Responsibilities - · Excellent knowledge of US payroll activities and process · In-depth knowledge of US taxes and Federal & State Laws · Knowledge of the Tax forms like W4, W2, 941, 940 and State filings · In-depth knowledge of deductions set-up like Health, FSA, HSA, retirement benefits, pre/post-tax deductions, etc. · In-depth understanding of new hire & Termination process along with State compliance laws · In-depth knowledge of proration calculations like final paychecks, Overtime, double time, etc. · Knowledge of the tax amendments process and Unemployment taxes · Mentoring and coaching new hires, associates, and teammates · Knowledge of Weekly & Month End Reporting · Able to work as a team player and able to maintain quality as per defined standards within given TAT. · Able to manage multiple tasks/clients at the same time. · Knowledge of MS- Excel like VLOOKUP, Pivot table, etc. · Process improvement ideas and suggestions within the process Skills & Education · 3+ Years of experience required in US Payroll · Strong written, comprehension, and speaking skills. · MS Outlook, and MS Excel knowledge · Experience in US Payroll end-to-end activities. · Any Graduation · Additional Certifications would add more points.
