Description
Roles and Responsibilities Preparing the organization for, and facing EHS/ESG & CSR Audits including but not limited to: Sedex/SMETA, Ecovadis, customer audits etc. Preparing and maintaining SOPs and records for EHS activities including carbon reduction/greenhouse gas reduction plans Making, tracking and achieving targets for net-zero goals for the Organization; managing initiatives such as implementation of Solar Panel-based electricity generation, etc. Training employees on EHS activities/SOPs Assessing and improving Waste Management practices Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations Focusing on prevention by keeping up with equipment maintenance and employee training Sharing information, suggestions, and observations with project leadership to create consistency in safety standards throughout the production team and the entire company Have Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environment Management System (EMS) and 45001 occupational health and safety (OH&S) management systems. Conduct regular environmental audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks. Coordinate environmental objectives, targets, and improvement programs. Ensure compliance with local, state environmental regulations. Monitor and manage data related to environmental performance (waste, emissions, energy use, etc.). Mock Drill: - Have knowledge to conduct the mock drills and maintain the corresponding documents. Fire Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments to identify potential fire hazards in the workplace. Fire Safety Training: Organizing and delivering fire safety training programs for all staff members including educating employees on fire prevention measures, the proper use of fire fighting equipment, and evacuation procedures. Emergency Response Planning: Have knowledge of Developing and implementing effective emergency response plans specific to fire incidents. Fire Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the regular maintenance and inspection of fire fighting equipment, such as extinguishers, fire alarms, and sprinkler systems. Regulatory Compliance: Staying up-to-date with fire safety regulations and codes, and ensuring the organization complies with all relevant standards. Compliance: - Must have knowledge to handle the compliances w.r.t. Pollution control board, Fire Safety office etc. Desired Candidate Profile Bachelors/Masters Degree EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years in EHS/ESG & CSR field including experience with facing ESG/Social Accountability Audits Excellent written and oral English skills as required for preparing documents/facing audits from overseas auditors LOCATION: Gurgaon OR Baddi Advance safety Diploma/certificate from any recognized institute SALARY RANGE 7-12 lpa (55k -1 lakh/month) The company has two units as below: Unit-1: 110-111 Udyog Vihar Phase-4, Gurgaon, Haryana-122015 Unit-2: Saraj Majra Gujran, Suncity Road, Baddi, Distt.
