1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates.
Coordinate interviews and maintain candidate communication.
Support new hire onboarding, induction programs, and documentation.
2. Employee Lifecycle Management
Maintain and update employee records (attendance, leave, personal files, HRMS).
Draft offer letters, appointment letters, confirmations, and other HR communications.
Support exit formalities and maintain full & final settlement data.
3. HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, gratuity, labor laws, etc.) with proper documentation.
Support payroll inputs and coordinate with accounts/finance for salary processing.
Maintain compliance registers and statutory returns as per industry requirements.
4. Employee Engagement & Welfare
Assist in planning employee engagement activities, training sessions, and celebrations.
Address day-to-day employee queries and escalate as required.
Support grievance handling and help in building a positive work environment.
5. Performance & Training Support
Assist in tracking probation reviews and performance appraisals.
Maintain training records and support learning & development initiatives.
6. General Administration Support
Support office administration, vendor coordination, and facility management where required (as SMEs often combine HR & Admin).
Coordinate with different departments for HR-related activities.
Basic knowledge of labor laws, payroll, and compliance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software/ERP (preferred).
Ability to multitask, work under deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
Energetic, approachable, and people-oriented.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
Flexible to work in a growing SME environment with multi-tasking responsibilities.
Problem-solving attitude and eagerness to learn.
