The Training Manager is accountable for leading the complete training lifecycle within the organization. This position entails steering training teams, establishing training frameworks for various workflows, and devising effective training strategies to ensure alignment with broader strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete training lifecycle within the mapping operations division.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training frameworks tailored to various workflows within the mapping operations.
  • Devise effective training strategies to ensure alignment with the organization's broader strategic objectives and goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and competencies required for mapping operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular evaluations of team members.
  • Design, develop, and update training materials, programs, and curricula specific to mapping operations.
  • Ensure training programs are engaging, effective, and up-to-date with industry standards and technological advancements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze training data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on training outcomes, progress, and areas needing attention to senior management.
  • Implement innovative training solutions to enhance the learning experience and operational efficiency.
  • Manage the budget allocated for training programs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Identify cost-effective training solutions without compromising on quality.

Education

  • Bachelors or Masters degree
  • Certifications in training, or geospatial tools are an advantage.

Experience

  • 12+ years of proven experience including training management, preferably within mapping operations or a similar technical field.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities with a track record of mentoring and developing team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage learners and stakeholders.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address training challenges and improve effectiveness.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage training schedules, materials, and participant records.
  • Ability to adapt training programs to meet changing organizational needs.
  • A mindset of continuous learning and improvement.
