Our team of multi-domain experts has successfully delivered national priority strategic engagements, providing guidance and insights to central and state governments, Public Sector Units (PSUs), and multilateral institutions


About the Role:

Urban Planning professional


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the

    drafting, review, and implementation

    of urban planning policies, rules, and regulations at the

    State and Central Government

    levels.
  • Conduct

    project appraisals

    , feasibility studies, and impact assessments for urban development initiatives.
  • Utilize

    GIS tools

    for spatial analysis, mapping, and data visualization to inform planning decisions.
  • Collaborate with government departments, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with planning objectives.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external use.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of urban planning projects and provide strategic inputs.


Key Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree (Master’s) in Urban Planning

    from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 5 years

    of professional experience in urban planning, with demonstrable

    GIS expertise

    .
  • Experience in

    policy drafting

    ,

    regulatory tasks

    , and

    project appraisal

    for State/Central Government initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of urban development frameworks, planning norms, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.


Preferred Attributes:

  • Familiarity with urban planning software and tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in consulting or working with government agencies is a plus.
