Upwork Bidder

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Upwork Bidder / BDE with 1–3 years of experience in lead generation and client acquisition through freelancing platforms. The candidate should have a strong track record of successful bidding, client communication, and business conversion.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Independently manage bidding on Upwork and other freelancing portals like Freelancer, Guru, PeoplePerHour, etc.
• Understand client requirements, draft customized proposals, and convert leads into long-term business.
• Communicate with international clients professionally via chat, email, and video calls.
• Generate leads for services such as Web Development, Digital Marketing, SEO etc.
• Coordinate with the technical team to ensure proper execution of client requirements.
• Maintain and update a pipeline of proposals, follow-ups, and client communications.
• Achieve monthly targets for lead generation and project closures.
• Keep up with market trends, pricing strategies, and platform policies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience of 1–3 years in bidding and client handling on Upwork or similar platforms.
• Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of IT services and how to pitch them effectively.
• Experience in client negotiation, sales follow-up, and closing deals.
• Good understanding of proposal writing and basic technical terms.
• Familiarity with project management tools and CRM systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
