Strong knowledge of people planning principles, scheduling, labor laws, and digital planning solutions.

Your responsibilities

As a Unit People Planning Specialist, you will play a key role in driving the people planning strategy to enable a great co-worker experience while ensuring business goals are met. You will:

Implement people planning strategies at the unit level in line with local guidelines and IKEA principles
Collaborate with department managers to co-create efficient schedules that meet customer demands, co-worker needs, and budget frames.
Ensure adherence to employment standards, local legislation, and union requirements related to people planning.
Analyze and apply relevant data and digital tools to optimize staffing structures, workload distribution, and multi-skilling opportunities.
Act as a vital link between People & Culture and Business Navigation, ensuring alignment between planned and actual worked hours.
Support the recruitment planning process by ensuring vacancies align with headcount and capacity requirements.
Promote knowledge of people planning principles by educating and supporting co-workers and managers.
Facilitate accurate timecard evaluations and support digital transformation in the people planning process.
