Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Managing & driving Ad Sales revenue and growth in defined markets through space selling and overall responsible for the P&L of the unit.
Leading a team of Sales and Marketing professionals in the Unit.
Lead to drive growth and expansion through Product Development, revenue based Initiatives, Business Strategies and Service Excellence
Relationship management with key stakeholders / Agencies / Clients and channels for business development
Establishing sales strategies and its implementation.
Team Management and development (guide, motivate & mentor them)
Ensuring optimum market penetration and achievement of targeted numbers
Generating Sales through mapping clients, Identifying USPs, building and making a compelling pitch, negotiations / closure & servicing
Business Development / Negotiations / Relationship Management, PR Coordination with Media Agencies & Client (Brand, Product & MARCOM) to ensure sales growth

Preferred candidate profile

Must have a broad understanding of the local market
Should be a Go-Getter with a Positive approach and attitude
High Integrity
Should essentially be a competent team leader with a proven track record of leading a team or Unit consistently for 3-4 four years
Ground connect and open to travel in upcountry markets along with city working
Awareness of Market Trends & Competitive Pricing / Activities.
Should have an ability to lead and provide solution to cross functions like Circulation, Production, Finance, & HR
