Umbrella Infocare - Principal Solution Architect - AWS Cloud Migration

• Act as the technical lead during the sales cycle, working closely with account executives, customers, and internal teams.
• Engage in discovery sessions with clients to assess current infrastructure, applications, and cloud readiness.
• Design and present AWS-based migration architectures, including compute, storage, networking, and application stacks.
• Solution designing for serverless applications, containerized applications, Security and compliance , Hybrid or multi-cloud architecture .
  

• Develop customized migration roadmaps and proposals using AWS best practices and migration frameworks.
• Recommend migration strategies such as Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Retire, Retain, and Repurchase (6 R's).
• Identify risks and mitigation plans to support seamless migration execution.
  

• Utilize tools like AWS Migration Hub, CloudEndure, Server Migration Service (SMS), and Database Migration Service (DMS).
• Architect landing zones, security frameworks, and hybrid integration models.
• Ensure adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework and security compliance standards.
  

• Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, Statements of Work (SoWs), and cost estimates.
• Work with sales and finance teams to model TCO/ROI for AWS migration projects.
  

• 10+ years of experience in IT architecture and systems integration.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on AWS experience, with a focus on enterprise migration projects.
• Deep understanding of cloud architectures, hybrid cloud, networking, and security.
• Proven experience in pre-sales, customer interaction, and proposal writing.
• Strong knowledge of migration methodologies, AWS services, and modern application design patterns.
• The person should have experience in AWS MAP program and its components like MAP 2.0 , MAP light, MAP assessment , OLA assessment etc.
  

Certificate

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.
• AWS Migration Specialty or DevOps Engineer.
