UI/UX Engineer - HTML5/CSS3/Javascript

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand business and technical requirements to create intuitive, efficient, and visually appealing UI solutions.
• Develop responsive web pages and interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
• Build reusable, modular, and maintainable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and resolve UI bugs and issues.
• Implement SEO best practices to improve web content visibility.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate front-end components with APIs and services.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Review and maintain code quality through peer reviews and unit testing.
• Support and troubleshoot production issues related to front-end functionality.
• Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development and UI/UX design.
  

Technical Skills & Experience

• Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and frameworks like Bootstrap or Material CSS.
• Experience with CSS3 transitions/animations, Flexbox, and CSS pre-processors such as SASS/LESS.
• Proficient in JavaScript and jQuery, with practical knowledge of frameworks like ReactJS, AngularJS, KnockoutJS, or BackboneJS.
• Skilled in AJAX and asynchronous request handling.
• Hands-on experience working with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, and Magento, including e-commerce platform integrations.
• Familiarity with image editing tools like Photoshop or GIMP.
• Understanding of SEO principles and ability to resolve cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficient in using version control systems, especially Git.
• Experience participating in full software development lifecycle with developers, analysts, and testers
