About Nestology

AI-powered parenting co-pilot

We help parents move from confusion and guilt to clarity and confidence using:

  • Science-backed developmental guidance
  • Montessori-aligned learning experiences
  • Smart trackers and reports
  • AI-driven personalization
  • Human support from educators and coaches

This is not content for clicks. This is a product that parents trust with their child.

The Role

UI/UX Designer

This is not a “make it pretty” role.

how parenting guidance should feel in the modern world

You will work closely with the founder, engineers, and early educators to design the core Nestology experience — app flows, trackers, AI interactions, and learning journeys.

What You’ll Do

  • Design end-to-end user journeys for parents of 0–3-year-olds.
  • Translate complex developmental concepts into

    simple, reassuring interfaces

    .
  • Create UX for trackers (sleep, feeding, milestones, emotions) without overwhelm.
  • Design AI interaction flows that feel

    supportive, not robotic

    .
  • Own wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity screens, and interaction states.
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure clean, feasible implementation.
  • Build and maintain a

    design system

aligned with Nestology’s calm, premium tone.
  • Participate in user research, parent interviews, and usability testing.

You Might Be a Great Fit If You

  • Have 4

    –8 years of UI/UX experience

    on consumer products.
  • Have designed

    mobile-first apps

(health, education, fintech, or consumer tech preferred).
  • Think in

    flows and mental models

    , not just screens.
  • Are sensitive to

    emotional context

    (anxious parents, sleep-deprived users).
  • Can balance aesthetics with usability and cognitive load.
  • Are comfortable working in early-stage ambiguity.
  • Care deeply about building something meaningful, not just viral.

Bonus (Not Mandatory, but Valuable)

  • Experience with

    edtech, healthtech, or parenting products

    .
  • Familiarity with Montessori, child development, or behavioral design.
  • Experience designing for AI-driven products or conversational UX.
  • Ability to think in systems, not isolated screens.

Tools We Use / Expect

  • Figma (mandatory)
  • Notion / FigJam for collaboration
  • Basic understanding of React Native constraints is a plus

What You’ll Get

  • Opportunity to shape a product used in one of life’s most sensitive phases
  • High ownership and creative autonomy
  • Close collaboration with founders and early users
  • Competitive compensation +

    early-stage equity (if founding role)

  • A product you’ll be proud to show your own family
