UI/UX Designer

The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and strategic UI/UX Designer to lead the redesign of our live fantasy sports gaming app (available on iOS & Android). This is a pivotal project to reimagine the user experience from the ground up. Your work will directly impact user engagement, retention, and the app's overall success. We're not just looking for a designer; we're looking for a strategic partner who can transform our product's interface and create an intuitive, modern, and exciting experience for our users.

This is a project-based role with strong potential for a long-term retainer or full-time position for a candidate who proves to be a great collaborator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Discovery & Strategy:

  Conduct deep-dive user research and competitive analysis to identify pain points and strategic opportunities.

• User-Centric Design:

  Develop detailed user personas and map out intuitive user journeys to create a seamless experience.

• Core Flow Redesign:

  Rethink and redesign critical user flows, including onboarding, game participation, and community interaction.

• Prototyping & Validation:

  Translate concepts into wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes using Figma.

• Visual Execution:

  Deliver pixel-perfect, production-ready UI screens that are consistent with our brand identity and elevate our visual language.

We are looking for:

• A Strategic Thinker:

  You don't just create beautiful screens; you ask "why" and can clearly articulate the reasoning behind every design decision. You connect user needs to business goals.

• An Empathetic Problem-Solver:

  You are obsessed with understanding the user and are driven to solve their problems through elegant design.

• A Proven App Designer:

  You have a strong portfolio showcasing your experience in designing native mobile apps. Experience in gaming, sports, or community-focused apps is a significant plus.

• A Figma Expert:

  You are highly proficient in Figma, capable of building and maintaining a clean and scalable design system.

• An Independent Owner:

  You are self-motivated and can manage the design process from research to handoff with minimal supervision.

Our Hiring Process:

1. Application Review:

   We will review case studies.

   Onlycase studies showing full process breakdown reaching to the final output (UX + UI) will be considered, other applications will not be taken into consideration. No resume required.

2. Paid Test Assignment:

   Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a paid assignment to showcase their thinking process.

3. Interviews:

   Two rounds of interviews will be conducted to discuss the test assignment, your past work, and cultural fit.

4. Final Selection & Onboarding:

   The selected designer will be onboarded for the full project.
