Trust & Safety Operations Associate

Scale AI is seeking a skilled and motivated Trust and Safety Specialist to join our India team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing high-priority cases, driving operational excellence, and contributing to global safety initiatives. Your expertise will help ensure secure, compliant, and reliable outcomes for our users and partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve complex, high-priority cases involving fraud, scams, privacy, regulatory matters, and emerging risks.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and investigations utilizing internal tools, product signals, and third-party resources
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design and implement operational workflows, decision frameworks, and automation strategies
• Translate insights from case management into actionable feedback to enhance product, engineering, and policy initiatives
• Develop and maintain playbooks, standard operating procedures, macros, and knowledge repositories for internal teams and external vendors
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives ranging from process development to scaling global operations
• Oversee operational performance through case quality reviews, service level monitoring, escalation accuracy, and user satisfaction metrics
• Provide training and ongoing support to vendor teams, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to trust and safety standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in trust and safety, fraud prevention, scam investigation, privacy operations, compliance, or related risk management functions, preferably within a global or rapidly growing technology environment
• Demonstrated ability to apply technology and data-driven tools to optimize workflows, strengthen decision-making, and scale operational impact
• Established subject matter expertise with strong familiarity in relevant legal, regulatory, policy, and technical frameworks
• Proven success in scaling operations, designing processes, and partnering across functions to drive safety and performance outcomes
• Advanced analytical capability to identify patterns, assess risk, and recommend evidence-based policy or product adjustments
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and empathetically in sensitive and high-stakes situations
• Strong ability to operate effectively in dynamic, high-autonomy environments, balancing urgency with diligence
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently while maintaining focus on measurable outcomes
