Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Travel Back Office Executive to support our travel operations by managing bookings, coordinating with suppliers, handling documentation, and ensuring smooth backend processes. The ideal candidate should have experience in the travel industry, be proficient in travel booking systems, and possess excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities1. Booking & Reservation Management

  • Handle flight, hotel, train, cab, and package bookings.
  • Process amendments, cancellations, and refunds as per company policies.
  • Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other travel vendors for confirmations and issue resolution.

2. Customer Support & Coordination

  • Assist travel consultants with booking-related inquiries and itinerary customization.
  • Communicate with customers via email or phone regarding ticketing, re-booking, and travel assistance.
  • Ensure timely issuance of tickets, vouchers, and invoices.

3. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and cancellations.
  • Prepare travel-related reports, including daily transactions, client feedback, and service efficiency.
  • Handle visa processing documentation and coordinate with embassies and agencies.

4. Financial & Accounting Support

  • Verify payment receipts and update financial records.
  • Assist in billing, invoicing, and reconciling travel expenses.
  • Work closely with the accounts team for refunds, commissions, and payment follow-ups.

5. System & Software Management

  • Operate Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre for flight bookings.
  • Manage CRM and travel booking software for efficiency.
  • Ensure data accuracy and update records in the system regularly.

6. Compliance & Quality Control

  • Adhere to company policies and industry regulations for travel bookings.
  • Ensure quality checks on all bookings and documents before processing.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry changes, airline policies, and travel restrictions.

Key RequirementsQualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in a back-office role.
  • Familiarity with GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) and travel CRM software is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high-volume transactions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer queries efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
