Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Transport Executive to oversee the daily operations of our transportation department within a dynamic travel company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our fleet, coordinating drivers and schedules, ensuring compliance with transport regulations, and delivering exceptional travel experiences for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all transport logistics for tours, airport transfers, and other travel services.
• Manage and maintain the company’s fleet of vehicles, ensuring all are roadworthy, insured, and serviced on schedule.
• Recruit, train, and supervise drivers, ensuring high standards of safety, punctuality, and customer service.
• Coordinate with the sales and operations teams to align transportation availability with tour schedules and bookings.
• Monitor transport budgets, fuel costs, and vehicle usage to optimize operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, health and safety, and regulatory requirements (including licensing, insurance, and environmental policies).
• Handle transport-related emergencies, breakdowns, or delays, and implement solutions promptly.
• Track and analyze performance metrics such as driver efficiency, on-time departures, and vehicle utilization.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Transport Executive, preferably in a travel, tourism.
• Strong knowledge of fleet management, transport legislation, and driver scheduling.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in transport management systems or fleet tracking software is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; additional licenses (e.g., commercial or passenger transport) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a travel or tourism company.
• Strong customer service orientation, especially in handling traveler transport needs.
