Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures at the workplace.
Risk Assessment and Management: Identify potential hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement measures to control and mitigate risks.
Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular site and safety inspections to ensure adherence to established protocols and regulations.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Training and Communication: Train employees on safety procedures, proper use of safety equipment, and emergency protocols, fostering a strong safety culture.
Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, near misses, and work-related injuries to identify causes and prevent recurrence.
Advising Management: Provide expert advice to management and other departments on health, safety, and environmental issues.
Equipment Management: Ensure safety equipment is properly used, maintained, and available when needed.
Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of inspections, incidents, training, and compliance activities.
