Job Description

Role & responsibilities

ransition Management

Manage end-to-end transition processes, including transferring services and staff between locations or service providers, while ensuring service levels are maintained.
Maintain budgets, project plans, and provide regular reporting to both customers and internal management.
Deliver a proactive, high-quality, customer-focused service on a daily basis.

Solution Design & Delivery

Influence and shape transition solutions in collaboration with bid teams, solution analysts, and architects.
Define project approach, scope, milestones, success criteria, deliverables, risks, and contingencies.
Ensure quality assurance activities are embedded in all transition projects.
Take ownership of project financials, including month-end processes and forecasting inputs.
Identify and manage scope changes, secure client buy-in, and explore additional revenue opportunities.
Contribute to proposal development from client request through to delivery.
Create value propositions aligned with client needs and organizational strategy.

Transformation & Alignment

Collaborate with Transformation teams to drive
DGEM alignment
, incorporating best practices and client-specific requirements.
Lead
Impact Assessment phases
at country/region/market level to identify gaps and develop action plans.
Develop and implement plans to ensure
Day 1 productivity initiatives
are achieved.
Support implementation of initiatives arising from DGEM alignment and workshops.

Training & Knowledge Management

Contribute to Academies to ensure effective training and ramp-up of teams.
Train service delivery teams and ensure smooth handover with formal sign-off.
Drive proactive issue resolution and continuous process improvement.
Ensure effective knowledge management and transition coordination.

Stakeholder Management

Track and monitor SLAs, escalating failures as appropriate.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Promote open communication and collaboration between Capgemini and client teams.
Prepare reports in line with Capgemini processes and standards.
Present ideas and solutions persuasively using appropriate tools (presentations, charts, agendas).

Team Leadership

Provide guidance and advice to team members to support professional growth.
Deliver constructive, timely, and fact-based feedback.
Manage staff-related issues including timesheets, recruitment, overtime, holidays, appraisals, promotions, sickness, and training.
Foster a positive and supportive team culture, driving efficiency and collaboration.

Preferred candidate profile

Proven
dedicated transition experience
with a strong track record in managing complex transitions.
Must have
hands-on experience in 3rd party transitions
; candidates with only captive setup or internal transition experience will not be considered.
Current/last role should be as a
Transition Manager
or in a
Transition-specific role
.
Ability to
articulate transition methodology
, including risks, challenges faced, and mitigation strategies.
Experience in
bid processes
, acting as a transition counterpart during RFPs and bids.
Strong background in
transition solutioning
, including devising plans, cost estimation, and execution strategies.
