Position: Transformer Production Head

Department: Production & Designing

Location: Bhopal

Key Responsibilities:-

1. Production Management:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all production activities to ensure efficient and timely production of transformers
• Develop and implement production schedules while maintaining quality and output targets.
• Optimize the use of resources, materials, and manpower to minimize wastage and reduce costs.

2. Team Leadership:-

• Manage, lead, and motivate the production team to meet organizational goals.

• Conduct training and skill development programs for the production workforce.

3. Quality Assurance:-

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.

• Collaborate with the quality control team to address defects and implement corrective measures.

4. Process Improvement:-

• Identify areas for process enhancement and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

• Incorporate Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices to improve efficiency.

5. Inventory and Materials Management:-

• Monitor and manage raw materials and inventory to avoid production delays.

• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for the timely availability of materials.

6. Compliance and Safety:-

• Maintain compliance with all relevant industry standards and certifications.

• Ensure workplace safety by implementing proper health and safety protocols.

7. Reporting and Analysis:-

• Prepare and present regular production reports to senior management.

• Analyse production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:-

• Education: Bachelor’s/master’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in transformer manufacturing or heavy electrical equipment production, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
• Also, the candidate must have experience in Electrical Designing.

Skills:-

• Strong understanding of transformer manufacturing processes.

• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Proficient in production planning software and tools.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process optimization methodologies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
