Job Description

Position: Training & Development Executive

Location: Madurai

Qualification: M. Pharm

Experience: Fresher / Experienced

Gender: Male

Salary: 25000/- (Negotiable)

1. Training Needs Assessment

  • Identify skill gaps and training needs for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy managers and department heads to assess current competencies and future requirements.
  • Analyze performance metrics, audits, and incident reports to determine focus areas.

2. Design and Development of Training Programs

  • Develop training modules on topics such as:
  • Medication dispensing protocols
  • Drug safety and pharmacovigilance
  • Inventory and supply chain management
  • Use of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) or pharmacy software
  • Patient counseling and communication
  • Regulatory compliance (e.g., NABH, FDA, GMP standards)
  • Create learning materials such as SOPs, manuals, videos, and e-learning modules.

3. Training Delivery

  • Organize and conduct in-person workshops, seminars, and refresher training.
  • Facilitate onboarding and induction training for new pharmacy staff.
  • Coordinate with external trainers or pharmaceutical representatives for specialized sessions.

4. Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using assessments, feedback forms, and on-the-job performance.
  • Track training completion and maintain detailed training records.
  • Implement corrective training measures based on evaluation outcomes.

5. Compliance and Accreditation Support

  • Ensure training practices align with healthcare standards and accreditation requirements (NABH, JCI, etc.).
  • Conduct training audits and ensure documentation is up to date.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing training records and compliance reports.

6. Continuous Professional Development (CPD)

  • Encourage ongoing education and certification for pharmacy staff.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new drug launches, and regulatory changes.
  • Promote participation in webinars, conferences, and external courses.

7. Collaboration and Communication

  • Liaise with HR, Quality, and Compliance departments to align training goals.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to promote a culture of learning and patient safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
