Trainee Sales

Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Trainee / Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team. This role involves engaging in bidding activities on platforms like Upwork, to generate leads and secure new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and engaging with potential clients. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation: ○ Identify potential clients and projects on freelance platforms like Upwork, Research and understand client requirements to effectively position our services. Bidding and Proposal Management: ○ Prepare and submit compelling bids and proposals tailored to client needs. ○ Follow up on submitted proposals to engage with potential clients and address their queries. Client Communication: ○ Maintain regular communication with clients to build and nurture relationships. ○ Conduct initial consultations to understand client requirements and provide appropriate solutions. Sales Pipeline Management: ○ Track and manage leads in the sales pipeline to ensure timely follow-ups and conversions. ○ Update CRM systems with accurate and detailed client information and sales activities. Market Research and Analysis: ○ Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities. ○ Provide feedback and insights to the sales team to refine sales strategies. Qualifications Education: ○ Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Skills: ○ Strong written and verbal communication skills. ○ Proficiency in using freelance platforms (Upwork )and CRM software. ○ Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills. ○ Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ○ Basic understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management. Experience: ○ Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. ○ Familiarity with the freelancing industry and online bidding processes is a plus. Show more Show less
