📌 Job Title: Senior Fleet & Operations Manager – Liquor & FMCG Cargo 📍 Location: Head Office – Patparganj Industrial Area, Delhi 🕒 Working Days: 6 days/week 📩 Reporting To: Director – Operations 💰 Salary Range: ₹34,000 – ₹50,000 per month (CTC) 🔍 Key Responsibilities 🚛 Pan-India Vehicle Placement Place vehicles from open market across India, especially for liquor bottles and FMCG cargo Maintain a strong broker/vendor network in major hubs like Delhi-NCR, Bhiwandi, Nashik, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Hyderabad, etc. Coordinate with local brokers and transporter networks to arrange vehicles based on requirement 🧳 Vendor Development & Field Visits Regularly visit transport hubs, brokers, and fleet operators to strengthen vendor relations Identify and onboard reliable vendors for both one-time and long-term contracts Ensure documentation (RC, permits, GST, excise clearance) is in place before placement 📡 Tracking, Compliance & Crisis Handling Ensure 24x7 live tracking of vehicles and proactively resolve delays, off-route issues, or breakdowns Ensure compliance with state-wise excise policies, especially for liquor consignments Work with the internal tracking/control tower team for PODs, timely updates, and reporting 📊 Operations Reporting & Cost Control Monitor freight cost, dead mileage, trip margins, and broker commissions Create structured reports (Excel/Google Sheets) for management on placement success, delays, and vehicle utilization Recommend cost-saving and route optimization strategies ✅ Ideal Candidate Profile Experience: 8–10 years in logistics/fleet operations with strong field placement and market negotiation skills Industry Preference: Liquor, FMCG, Pharma, or other sensitive cargo sectors Must Have: Ability to source vehicles Pan-India from open market Experience in field work – visiting brokers, transport unions, mandi hubs Familiarity with excise compliance, vehicle documents, vendor billing Skills: Vehicle tracking platforms, Excel reporting, strong communication Language: Fluent in Hindi & English
