1. Requirements Educational qualifications: - Bachelors in Marketing, Business Administration or any related field. Non MBA with good field experience can also apply. Experience: - Min 2 years’ experience in trade marketing field. Overall experience of +10 years in sales or related roles within the FMCG Food industry. Personality Traits: Good Communication Skills – Verbal & Written Creative and Innovative Team Player Result Oriented & Action Oriented Ability to Work Under Pressure & Result Driven Planning, Prioritizing, concept selling. Relationship Building 2. Knowledge Area Sound knowledge of how BTL activities work. POP, Events, Exhibitions, Sampling, Society activations, corporate office activities etc. Market Knowledge Potential opportunities for business development Category knowledge Frozen / Complementing categories / other Food FMCG Technical Knowledge about MS Office Geographic knowledge in area of operation Channel Knowledge – Retail ( GT & MT) is mandatory. Online / Horeca channels preferred. 3. Duty & Activity required to be performed by this role BTL Strategy Development and Execution Develop and Execute BTL strategies to improve brand offtakes thereby helping achieve targets Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities and challenges within the retail environment. Design and execute promotional programs and campaigns tailored to different retail channels / geographies / products Channel Partner Collaboration Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners (Retail + Institutions) Work with Channel partners & colleagues to create effective in-store marketing plans, including displays, promotions, and merchandising. Concept selling to key stakeholders to initiate events Planning / Execution / Reporting Monthly Event / Activity calendar Execution of planned calendar with end to end coordination with all the concerned stakeholders Reporting at agreed intervals of activity performance & output Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with regional sales managers and channel leads to ensure right opportunities are tapped. Work with the marketing team to align trade marketing initiatives with overall brand strategies and marketing campaigns. Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure product availability for promotions and in-store activities. Training and Development: Provide training and support to the sales team on trade marketing strategies and execution. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.
