Job Title: Tracking Executive Location: Angul , Maratira Department: Operations / Logistics Reporting to: Tracking Manager / Operations Head Job Summary: The Tracking Executive will be responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and ensuring the smooth movement of shipments/vehicles from origin to destination. The role requires real-time tracking, regular updates to stakeholders, timely issue resolution, and maintaining accurate data records to ensure operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Shipment / Vehicle Tracking Monitor the movement of vehicles, containers, or shipments using GPS, tracking software, or manual follow-ups. Provide real-time updates to customers, transporters, and internal teams. Identify and report delays, route deviations, or technical issues promptly. Coordination & Communication Liaise with drivers, transporters, and field staff for status updates. Communicate delivery timelines, delays, and rescheduling to concerned parties. Coordinate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure timely departures and arrivals. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate daily logs of vehicle movements. Prepare MIS reports for management on daily/weekly/monthly tracking performance. Ensure documentation related to delivery, POD (Proof of Delivery), and transit is complete. Issue Management Address breakdowns, route diversions, or accidents in coordination with relevant teams. Escalate issues to the higher authority when required. Suggest improvements in tracking processes to enhance efficiency. Compliance & Safety Ensure vehicles follow designated routes and comply with transport regulations. Verify driver adherence to safety protocols and driving hours
