Role Description

Quality Engineering / QA Automation

Responsibilities

Lead quality engineering activities for small to large-scale projects across multiple teams.
Drive end-to-end quality engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Possess strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, JUnit, Eclipse IDE, and automation frameworks such as Selenium, Rest Assured, Appium, Protractor, and Cucumber.
Demonstrate solid understanding of Databases, APIs (REST/SOAP), and Continuous Delivery concepts and tools including Jenkins.
Have experience using code quality and security tools such as Sonar, Checkmarx, and Fortify.
Proven expertise in QA automation using Selenium and API automation frameworks.
Experience in performance engineering and profiling, including Java JVM and database performance, using tools like LoadRunner and JMeter.
Exposure to Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of cross-browser and cross-device testing strategies.
Ability to design and develop acceptance and integration test automation scripts, and integrate them with CI pipelines (Jenkins) and code coverage tools (Sonar, Clover) to achieve 80% or higher code coverage.
Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and standard testing methodologies.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and ensure adherence to company and industry standards.
Design and execute test cases to identify software defects, analyze issues, and document test results clearly for development teams.
Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, while effectively prioritizing and planning testing activities.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of software QA processes, tools, and best practices.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology stacks.
Strong experience working in Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) development environments.
