Automation

Technical Skills

  • Experience with test automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, Appium, etc.
  • Knowledge of test frameworks in at least one language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
  • Understanding of test architecture (API testing, UI testing, load testing).

Manual

  • Strong grasp of test case design techniques, exploratory testing, and defect tracking.
  • Experience with test management tools: Zephyr, Xray, etc.

Process & Management

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Define QA KPIs and ensure metric-driven reporting.
  • Release planning and risk-based testing.
  • Prioritize and allocate testing resources effectively.

Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Good communication with cross-functional teams.
  • Conflict resolution and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to mentor and upskill junior QA engineers.

Optional

ISTQB/Test Architect certifications.
