Role Overview

Software Engineer – Test Engineering

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Execution

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for both web and API layers.
• Collaborate with product owners and developers to define test criteria and acceptance standards.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and work with development teams for timely resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing practices.

Support & Enablement

• Build and maintain reusable, scalable test libraries and automation frameworks.
• Document test cases, processes, and contribute to testing best practices and guidelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups) and contribute to sprint deliverables from a quality perspective.
• Assist in root cause analysis and proactively contribute to improving code and product quality through early testing feedback.

Required Qualifications

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in software testing, QA, or test automation roles.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.

Technical Skills

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in automated testing tools such as

• Solid understanding of

  methodologies: regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
