About the Role
As a Test Engineer at Brainster Math, you will be responsible for testing our application to ensure it meets quality standards before release. You’ll collaborate closely with developers and product managers to identify, document, and resolve issues, ensuring the best experience for our users.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in application testing (manual and/or automated).
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Consistently meets tight deadlines without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans and test cases for application features.
• Perform functional, regression, usability, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Re-test fixed bugs and verify application stability.
• Maintain detailed and accurate testing documentation.
• Provide feedback to improve product quality and efficiency.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of API testing and database validation.
